What is rakeback?
When you sign up at a poker room through RakeBackDirect, you receive a refund
up to a certain percent of each dollar that you pay in rake. This refund is called "rakeback".
If you hover over the "Choose Your Poker Site" button at the top of the page, you will see every poker site that we offer for rake back.
What is rake?
Rake is what the poker room charges, usually $1-3, from each pot as a fee
for offering the game. The rake goes unnoticed by most players, but over
time it makes a huge difference in every player's winnings. By earning
participating in rakeback, a player can increase their winnings substantually or counter-effect their losses.
What is MGR?
"MGR" stands for "Monthly Gross Revenue". This is the total rake paid by the
player as calculated by the poker site. A player earns rakeback based on his
MGR.
What is an affiliate?
An affiliate is a person or company that advertises for a site or a group of
sites. Affiliates are paid using one of two methods; upfront payment(CPA) or
percentage of revenue(MGR). This is how RakeBackDirect is able to refund to you a given percent of the rake (rakeback) you pay to the "house" or poker site.
How does a poker site calculate my MGR?
It varies from site to site in the following mannor:
MGR is calculated by the actual amount you contribute in rake at Eurobet
Poker, Battlefield Poker, and Bet Hold'em Poker.
MGR is calculated by "dividing the amount of rake paid for each hand by the
total number of players at the start of the hand" at Noble Poker, Ultimate
Bet, Absolute Poker, Sun Poker and GamesGrid Poker.
How can I get rakeback through RakeBackDirect?
We have detailed instructions for how to sign up at each site. If you hover over the "Choose Your Poker Site" button at the top of the page, you will see a listing of every poker site that we offer for rake back.
Simply select your site of your choice and follow
the instructions exactly as they are onscreen to ensure that you receive
rakeback. If you are asked to enter a bonus code, you MUST enter the code
exactly as it is written on our site. To prevent typos, we suggest you "cut
and paste" the bonus code.
Do tournament fees count towards MGR?
This varies from site to site. You will earn rakeback for all tournaments at
Noble Poker, Absolute Poker, Battlefield Poker, Bet Hold Em Poker, and
Caribbean Sun Poker.
Are sign-up bonuses and reload bonuses deducted from the MGR?
Any cash bonus is deducted from MGR at Noble Poker, Sun Poker, Eurobet
Poker, Bet Hold'em, Battlefield Poker and GamesGrid poker.
Bonuses are NOT deducted from the MGR at Absolute Poker.
At UltimateBet, 25% of converted bonus dollars are deducted from the MGR.
Any unconverted bonus dollars are not deducted.
How often are my rakeback stats updated on RakeBackDirect?
All rakeback stats are updated daily, on or by 8PM EST, for the previous day's
play from midnight until 11:59 PM with the exception of Bodog, which is
monthly. Your rake back statistics are cumulative, so the rake back shown is from the 1st of the month through and covering previous day's play.
Bet Hold Em Poker, Battlefield Poker, and Cardroom Poker rakeback is
deposited to your poker account on a daily basis and your rakeback is not
tracked on RakeBackDirect.
At times, Absolute Poker and UltimateBet experience delays in your rakeback
stats updates, but in general, these sites are updated daily.
What is the RakeBackDirect's payment schedule?
RakeBackDirect will pay all members by the 15th of the month for your previous months rake back.
In some rare cases you might be paid as late as the 20th.
What is the minimum I need in rake back in order to get paid?
If we pay you via Neteller then the minimum is $20 USD for RakeBackDirect to transfer you
payment. If your month total is under that, it will be carried over to the
next month until you reach the $20 USD mark. If we pay you to your poker
account then the min is $5 USD and if you are under that, it will be carried it
over until you reach $5 USD.
I had $500 yesterday and now today it is $5. What is going on?
This happens when a new month comes around. Our rake back schedule is from
the 1st of the month to the very last day of that month. Then on the first
of every month all totals get reset and start from zero. There is no need to
worry because all of your totals are printed out and stored until payment is
done
I had $75 in and now its down to $69. What is going on?
This is a very common for anyone that is a Full Tilt rake back player. To
put it in simplest form, Full Tilt deducts just about everything from your
rake back. If you deposit or withdraw your rake back account will be charged
a small fee. If you transfer money or play in any of the free rolls you will
be charged. If you are entered in a freeroll and the prize pool is lets say
$10,000 and there is a 100 players all you need to do is divide $10k by 100
players and that is the total amount your rake back account will be charged
by Full Tilt. If you receive any type of bonus that money is also subtracted
from your rake back! If you enter a guarantee prize pool tourney and the
total buy in from players is less than the prize pool, unfortunately, you will
get charged! Is this fair...absolutely not! We complain to Full Tilt on a daily
bases about this, and hopefully they will resolve this in the future.
I Play Full Tilt, but I do not want to play free rolls so I can
protect my rake back.
What you need to do is contact customer support at Full Tilt and tell them
to not enter you in any free rolls. That will save you a lot of wasted rake
back dollars.
I signed up for an account before I knew about rake back. What can I
do?
This is one of the most common questions we get. If you just recently signed
up on Absolute for example and then found out about our service there is a
couple things that can happen. If you already have a cash account meaning
you deposited money you are pretty much out of luck and will need to find a
new site. However, if you have never deposited you might be able to get your
account transfer to us or you can always create a new one. Please remember
if you have an active cash account on a site and close it and reopen it you
are violating the TOC agreement with the site. That basically gives the site
the ability to close your account at any time and classify you as fraud.
That only happens in very rare cases, but it is still something you need to
be aware of. The way we look at is if you have a cash account you are not
eligible for rake back on that site. Just look around at other sites and find a
new one or contact us and we can help you get setup. If you want to see if
we can transfer your account please contact our support team and they will
see what can be done.
